The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) who is hungry, curious, and loves to learn.

As a BDR on our Corporate Sales team, you’ll help drive new business opportunities and play a key role in transforming how companies order food for their employees—whether it’s individual meals through Foodja On Demand or group catering with Foodja Team Order.
Compensation: Base salary of $45,000 annually with total expected compensation between $65,000–$75,000.
What You’ll Do
- Proactively call and email corporate prospects to build leads and pipeline through outbound prospecting.
- Achieve goals for contacts prospected, leads qualified, calls completed, registrations, and opportunities created.
- Ask thoughtful, strategic questions to understand business needs, uncover challenges, and identify fit.
- Partner with Sales and Marketing to craft messaging that captures attention and converts interest registrations.
- Collaborate with Director of Sales to ensure opportunities are documented with clear next steps.
- Accurately log activity and maintain a healthy pipeline in Salesforce, using reporting tools to monitor progress.
- Continuously learn about Foodja’s corporate programs, clients, and market trends - stay curious and proactive.
- Perform other related duties as assigned, always demonstrating initiative and a solution-oriented mindset.
What You Have
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 0–2 years of experience in sales development, business development, or customer-facing roles.
- A hunger to win - driven, disciplined, and self-motivated.
- Natural curiosity - you love learning, asking questions, and understanding how things work.
- Strong ability to execute outbound calls and prospect effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven success in self-prospecting or building pipeline independently.
- Coachable, adaptable, and eager to grow within a fast-moving organization.
Bonus Points For
- Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar prospecting tools.
- Experience working within Salesforce CRM.
- Ability to navigate complex organizations and engage key decision-makers.
